Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team in our central office, reporting to the Marketing Director. This candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker, ready to join an international work environment with never stopping energy and enthusiasm.
This person will contribute to the event across all functions including marketing communication and PR, advertising, branding, message development, direct marketing, digital efforts and more needed to plan, develop and implement an impeccable trade show. The role provides an opportunity to collaborate with local and international VIPs, CEOs and industry leaders.
We’re looking for candidates who have excellent presentation and personal skills, can creatively position their products internationally, are expert event makers and who truly understand the role that a trade show plays among its industry’s sales and marketing prospect.
Key Responsibilities
-Stemming from the strategic marketing plan, manage the creation and oversee delivery of the campaign and media plans for each event, enduring targeted messaging and activity plans per customer segment and journey, ensuring that this drives profitable acquisition, customer experience and retention.
-Own the end-to-end marketing communications including creating the comms plan, writing copy, segmenting data and working with internal stakeholders for email automation
-Drive content marketing activity that generates new audiences and retains existing customer groups.
-Define target audience profiles (by role, sector, territory and company) and required reach for event, offer ideas and plans to elevate the standard of the event.
-Ensure strong communication with key internal and external teams at all times, including weekly meetings to review activity, spend and results and agree plans to optimize or remediate where needed.
-Deliver compelling copywriting for all channels (including web, email, social media and print) and oversee all promotional and oversee all promotional collateral for the campaign (print and digital)
Skills and Qualifications
The event marketing manager will have a passion for event planning, excellent organisational skills and will be a strong verbal and written communicator. A strong practitioner customer service, the event manager will be able to multi-task effectively, work well under pressure, have a proactive approach to tasks and be able to foster good working relations at all levels, both internally and externally.
